After Dublin we fly back to Heathrow, to connect with our Korean Air flight to NZ, via Seoul.
We were most happy to find that we each had our own monitors at our seats, so lots to do to keep us somewhat amused during our 24 odd hours of flying! We also discussed a benefit of flying Korean Air was that most of the passengers were Korean, so not huge, so we had plenty of arm room and leg space and even room to climb past them to get to the loos!
Since we were flying Korean Air, we thought we should give the local food a try, so for dinner we had, Seaweed Soup, boiled rice, and an assortment of cold things that resembled mushrooms, grated fish, cucumber and something else a bit slimy! There was also a couple of tubes of sesame paste and hot chilli paste, but we weren't too sure how they were meant to fit with the meal so we left those untouched. Seemed ok, although an hour later Caz was STARVING (Mini Andy was ok, cos it doesn't take much to fill him up!). On the second flight from Seoul to Auckland we opted for the slightly heavier 'English' option of roast beef and mini tatties.
4 hours to fill in in Seoul on the way, though by the time we had been through all the transit security only an hour or two to go... was most impressed by the transit facilities at the airport, which included free internet, and a massages - what a treat!
