mini-Andy was invited out by 5 Norweigians on Saturday to ride the maxi-Rides at Parque de Attraciones in Madrid. What mini-Adventurer could turn down an offer like that!
Getting there was half of the fun and mini-Andy and his new pals chose to take the cable car over Parque del Oueste taking in the Rio Manzanares on the way.
Once he arrived in the park, mini-Andy was so excited to see all the rides and couldn't wait to go on, especially the rollercoasters!
As it was quite early in the morning our mini-Hero decided it would be best to go for a liitle warm-up on the bumper cars, before taking on the big one.
Now thoroughly shaken up, mini-Andy and his pals headed off for the Tarantula. Even though he was clearly over the minimum height specified, the mean attendant said something about "not having loose objects on rides" and mini-Andy was forced to sit out!
Scandalous! The discrimination that mini-Characters face must be brought to the attention of these callous parque-owners!
Tarantula however was only the second largest rollercoaster in the parque and our mini-Adventurer was determined not to be put off the big one.
Heading for "Annihilation", mini-Andy decided it best to ride inside maxi-Einar's jumper!
The team managed to hoodwink the meanie parque-owners and mini-Andy was on!
mini-Andy fared remarkably well on this ride, which is more than can be said for maxi-Andy's phone which decided to fall out of his pocket right at the top of the coaster...
After all this excitement, mini-Andy needed to sit down and grab a cerveza or two.
Fortunately for him, there was an offer on on cerveza, so 2 beers later, our mini-Adventurer now looked the part with an Indiana Jones hat!
Now a little more relaxed, mini-Andy decided to take the blimp ride around the park and just take it easy
Watching the big wet ride on his way around too.
As evening started to fall on Madrid, mini-Andy managed to get one more ride in, the one that spins around and goes up in the air, on which his glasses fell off! Luckily though, it turned out that they hadn't fallen too far and he groped around blindly in the ride car at the end of the ride until he found them. A trip to the opticians for a spare pair may be in order soon...
As people started heading for the gate, mini-Andy stopped off for another pint of the yellow stuff and another photo by the fountain and thought that life just could not get any better than this...
